Unessa Living Mattresses


RETURNS

You have 100 calendar days from the date of delivery to return your Unessa® mattress. Because it can take some time for your body to adjust to better support, we require sleeping on the mattress for a minimum of 21 days. 

To be eligible for a return, the mattress must be clean and undamaged.

We will refund the full product price of the mattress less the value of any discount, interest accrued, and shipping charges.

EXCHANGES

You have 100 calendar days from the date of delivery to exchange your Unessa® mattress. Because it can take some time for your body to adjust to better support, we require sleeping on the mattress for a minimum of 21 days. 

To be eligible for an exchange, the mattress must be clean and undamaged.

You are allowed one exchange. Your 100-night trial will continue from the date the first mattress was delivered (or 30 days from the delivery of your second mattress, whichever is greater). In most cases, your first mattress will be removed at the same time the second mattress is delivered.

Guarantee Of Fabrics

Since manufacturers of upholstered fabrics do not guarantee their merchandise from shrinkage, color fastness, or quality wearing, we are unable to consider adjustments, claims or credits for fabric merchandise. If you have purchased optional fabric protection, please refer to your optional fabric protection warranty for claim information.

Commercial Sales

The use of merchandise other than for household purposes voids all warranties.

Warranty

Unessa Living will not perform work or repair any furniture and warranty coverage does not apply to furniture that has been heavily soiled, stained, intentionally misused, altered, improperly cleaned, infested, damaged in transit, or otherwise damaged in a way that is not the result of defect in the workmanship of the product.

If the item cannot be repaired, Unessa Living will issue a CREDIT towards new merchandise. Accessory items are warranted for a period of 90 days. "AS-IS" items carry no warranty and the sale is final (except where prohibited by law). For warranty claims on mattresses, box springs, or additional protection or warranty programs, refer to the manufacturer's warranty for service information.

Unessa Living Wood Furniture

One (1) Year Limited Warranty

WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship, with the exceptions stated below.

HOW LONG COVERAGE LASTS

This warranty runs for up to one (1) year from the date of purchase.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not cover: (a) wear and tear; (b) improper or inadequate maintenance, misuse, or alteration; (c) exposure to chemicals, liquids, or fading caused by exposure to sunlight; (d) repair by unauthorized representatives; (e) damage resulting from transit or handling; (f) transportation costs; (g) commercial, institutional, business, rental, or any other non-residential usage; (h) “as is” purchases including but not limited to floor samples, clearance items, going out of business or tent sale, close-out, or from a liquidator; (i) product purchased from a non-authorized SALT FLAT™ dealer; (j) minor differences or finish variations as a result of the craftmanship and natural materials used in the manufacturing process; (k) damage from the slight expansion or contraction of wood; (l) damage to any type of flooring or floor covering;

WHAT UNESSA LIVING™ WILL DO

UNESSA LIVING™, at its sole discretion, will repair, replace, or refund any product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship.

HOW TO GET SERVICE

E-mail warranty@saltflathome.com to submit your warranty claim. Please keep your receipt so that we may process your warranty request. To expedite your warranty request, please include your purchase receipt, full telephone and address, and three photos illustrating the damage or issue with your item.

HOW STATE LAW APPLIES

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

The foregoing warranty shall be exclusive and in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and all other warranties otherwise arising by operation of law, course of dealing, custom, trade, or otherwise. Neither the seller nor the manufacturer shall be liable for any injury, loss or damage, direct or consequential arising out of the use or inability to use this product.

Limited Warranty

WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship, with the exceptions stated below.

HOW LONG COVERAGE LASTS

This warranty runs for the length of time specified below from the date of purchase.

FRAMES – LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

UNESSA LIVING™ warrants the upholstered frame will be free from manufacturing defects for the life of the product.

SPRINGS – LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY

UNESSA LIVING™ warrants the springs will be free from manufacturing defects for the life of the product.

SHOW WOOD – ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

UNESSSA LIVING™ warrants the exposed finished wood trim will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from date of purchase.

CUSHIONS – FIVE (5) YEAR WARRANTY

UNESSA LIVING™ warrants the cushions will be free from manufacturing defects for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase.

FABRICS – ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY

Color fastness, shrinkage, and pilling of fabrics are not covered under this warranty. Consistent with major fabric producers and furniture manufacturers, UNESSA LIVING™ in its sole discretion may refuse warranty coverage where "aftermarket" fabric, leather protectors, or coatings have been applied. Chemicals in these applications can change the characteristics of certain fabrics and cause early failure, color changes, and other damage. We appreciate your understanding of this policy.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and does not cover: (a) wear and tear; (b) improper or inadequate maintenance, misuse, or alteration; (c) exposure to chemicals, liquids, or fading caused by exposure to sunlight; (d) repair by unauthorized representatives; (e) damage resulting from transit or handling; (f) transportation costs; (g) commercial, institutional, business, rental, or any other non-residential usage; (h) “as is” purchases including but not limited to floor samples, clearance items, going out of business or tent sale, close-out, or from a liquidator; (i) product purchased from a non-authorized UNESSA LIVINGT™ dealer; (j) minor differences or finish variations as a result of the craftmanship and natural materials used in the manufacturing process; (k) damage from the slight expansion or contraction of wood; (l) damage to any type of flooring or floor covering; (m) slight softening and loss of resiliency in foam, polyester fiber, and other filling materials as a normal result of use and aging is not considered a manufacturing defect.

WHAT UNESSA LIVING™ WILL DO

This warranty applies to products that remain upholstered in the original fabric used under normal residential wear and tear. UNESSA LIVING™, at its sole discretion, will repair, replace, or refund any product that proves to be defective in materials or workmanship.
